Kurt Warner To Announce On Friday That He'll "Do Whatever Favre Does"

Word has come today that Arizona Cardinals quarterback and NFL veteran Kurt Warner will officially break his silence on whether or not he will return next season.

After conferring with his family, his pastor, God, and the voices in Chris Mortensen’s head, he has reportedly decided to do “whatever Brett Favre does.”

“God is so important in our lives, as a friend, mentor, and spiritual guide. Which is why when Tony Dungy told me I should follow Brett, I knew I had to listen.”

We were also able to reach Warner’s agent for comment:

“Kurt just has so much respect for Brett Favre as a man of God. As far as he’s concerned, no one can throw up a prayer like Brett. You need to have a little faith to chuck it deep into triple coverage like that.”

We planned this a long time ago. It’s like “The Pregnancy Pact”, only with beer bellies.
