CBS stated today that an ad submitted by gay dating site Mancrunch “is not within the Network’s Broadcast Standards for Super Bowl Sunday.”

Hey CBS, maybe your standards are different, but history tells us that the “gay” theme is an age-old practice on Super Bowl Sunday. Just ask these three halftime performers – Brian Boitano (Super Bowl XXVI), *N’SYNC (Super Bowl XXXV), and New Kids on the Block (Super Bowl XXV).
